Elizabeth Carpenter, MS, L.Ac. is a clinician, educator and consultant.  Since 1998, her customized natural health and cosmetic services practice has been located in midtown Manhattan.  She is currently developing Oriens, LLC, breaking new ground connecting the health club, spa and natural medicine experiences.  Coming to natural medicine as a patient who's professional dance career was saved by acupuncture, Elizabeth is invested in creating comprehensive health and image solutions for high performance living.

 

She has served on the faculties of five colleges and universities, and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine at Touro College.  She was the Director of Chinese Medicine for Haelth, LLC, a prototype for integrative care.

 

She is nationally board certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology, holds certification in Bowen Therapy, and is specially trained in a variety of modalities including cold laser therapeutics, nutrition and bioterrain assessment, homotoxicology, and more.

 

Elizabeth is a member of state and national professional organizations.  She is a consultant to the New York State Acupuncute Coalition working on issues of public safety and legislation related to the practice of herbal medicine, and is a former advisory board member of the Acupuncture Society of New York.
